Recent Roster Moves
The Orlando Magic announced on October 21, 2023, that they have converted guard Trevelin Queen's contract to a two-way deal. The move comes after Queen signed a three-year, $50 million extension with the team in December 2020 and a four-year, $50 million extension in October 2021.
On July 25, 2022, the Magic signed free agent guard Kevon Harris to a two-way contract. Additionally, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reported that the team has signed 3-year 50M extension on December 21 2020, and a 4-year 50M extension on October 16 2021.
These contract moves are part of the Magic's ongoing roster restructuring under President of Basketball Operations John Hammond. The team is currently in the midst of a rebuilding process, and the signings of Queen and Harris are seen as steps toward building a young, competitive squad.
